Nature Alberta Membership is FREE for Our Members
Since 2019 the Friends of HSNC Society has been an active member with Nature Alberta. We recognize the value of this provincial organization to connect and support organizations like ours across the province.
Did you know? In 1970 Helen Schuler helped to establish the Federation of Alberta Naturalists, now known as Nature Alberta, and served as a founding director and treasurer.
As Nature Alberta celebrates 50 years of service to our province, they are asking members of organizations like ours to consider joining them as a member to add another voice in support of the active appreciation and conservation of Alberta’s natural environment.
NatureAlberta.ca provides a central place for clubs from all over the province to promote their events. They also create educational materials like species checklists and guides to supporting nature in both urban and rural areas, available for free on their website. They run outreach programs like Nature Kids to promote first-hand nature experiences and inspire the next generation of naturalists. They publish Nature Alberta Magazine quarterly, filled with informative articles and beautiful photography. You can check it out for free online or subscribe to receive your own print copies at naturealberta.ca/magazine.
Your membership supports all these initiatives and more. Members also get 10% off books in their online store.
We encourage all of our Friends members to consider becoming a Nature Alberta Lifetime Member today. Members are asked to contact us for the invitation link for free Nature Alberta Lifetime Membership registration form - another great perk of being a Friend!
