Lowe's Canada Heroes Campaign a success!
Thank you to all of the staff at Lowe’s Lethbridge for their enthusiastic support of our Canada Heroes fundraiser! We appreciate you nominating us for the program and encouraging our programming in the community!
During the month of September Lowe's customers were asked to make a donation at checkout in support of the Friends of Helen Schuler Nature Centre Society. The total of donations received from customers was $2,787. This amount was then matched 50% by Lowe's, which equaled $1,393.50. Together the total amount raised by the campaign was $4,180.50!
Overall the fundraiser was a success - increasing awareness of our mission and vision in the community while also providing a generous donation match for our supporters.

Thank you to Lowe’s for their incredible support of 235 charitable organizations across Canada. With the support and generosity of their customers they donated over $1.5 million to causes that will benefit communities from coast to coast.
